Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking an experienced Painter or Carpenter to join our maintenance team at our U.S. properties. The role focuses on wall repairs, painting, furniture repairs, and general upkeep in hotel spaces.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with house repairs, strong attention to detail, can work under pressure, and are available for varied shifts including weekends and holidays. Compensation starts at $17.50 per hour.

Qualifications

  • Experience as a painter or carpenter, preferably in hospitality settings.
  • Knowledge of household repairs (carpentry, electrical, plumbing, etc.).
  • Engaging and welcoming personality.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Performs general maintenance of building, facility and soft goods.
  • Performs finishes repairs and touch ups to surfaces.
  • Performs preventive maintenance and maintains logs.
  • Makes repairs to woodwork, doors, windows, carpeting, etc.
  • Participates in preventive maintenance program.
  • Keeps records as required by policy.
  • Maintains logs of completed tasks.
  • Prepares reports as requested by supervisors.

What you will have an opportunity to do:

We are looking for an experienced Painter or Carpenter, who is highly motivated, and detail oriented to join our team! This individual performs a variety of maintenance trade functions such as the wall repair (Stucco, textured), Painting, Furniture repair and painting. You will be working closely with different members of our team, so you will need to be quick on your feet and have an engaging attitude. If you are a maintenance person who enjoys making meaningful connections, figuring out what it takes and stepping it up to win the day is what you do, and you love it, we want you! Your role:
  • Performs general maintenance of building, facility and soft goods
  • Performs finishes repairs and touch ups to various surfaces throughout the hotel and meeting space
  • Performs preventive maintenance and maintains logs in an organized manner
  • Make repairs to woodwork, wall vinyl, doors and window, carpeting, etc.
  • Participates in the hotel/resorts preventive maintenance program
  • Keeps records as required by company policy and procedures
  • Maintains logs on completed tasks
  • Prepares reports as requested by supervisors
  • Submits all requested reports/logs in a timely manner

Compensation

Compensation: $17.50 - $17.50

Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
