Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a motivated Painter or Carpenter to join the La Quinta Resort and Club team. You will perform maintenance, painting, and repair tasks to support a high-quality guest experience.

Candidate should have experience in painting or carpentry, with strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Weekend and holiday shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience as a painter or carpenter is required.
• Knowledge of household repairs (carpentry, electrical, plumbing) is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and an engaging personality are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and wall repairs (stucco, texture).
• Perform painting and furniture repairs as part of hotel maintenance.
• Maintain logs and reports of tasks and preventative maintenance.

This individual performs a variety of maintenance trade functions such as the wall repair (Stucco, textured), Painting, Furniture repair and painting. You will be working closely with different members of our team, so you will need to be quick on your feet and have an engaging attitude.If you are a maintenance person who enjoys making meaningful connections, figuring out what it takes and stepping it up to win the day is what you do, and you love it, we want you! This is a tremendous opportunity for a driven person to grow and learn at a world-class property!Your role:Performs general maintenance of building, facility and soft goodsPerforms finishes repairs and touch ups to various surfaces throughout the hotel and meeting space.Performs preventative maintenance and maintains logs in an organized manner.Make repairs to woodwork, wall vinyl, doors and window, carpeting, etc.Participates in the hotel/resorts preventive maintenance programKeeps records as required by company policy and procedures. Maintains logs on completed tasks. Prepares reports as requested by supervisors.
