Our Data Center Engineering Operations team maintains and operates critical infrastructure systems to ensure readiness against any situation.
AWS has the world’s largest cloud computing portfolio. As an Amazonian, you will work in some of the most sophisticated, safe, and secure data centers globally. Our Engineering Operations Technicians (EOTs) help maintain this by testing and implementing new technology and work practices to meet market demands.
This role involves hands-on electrical and mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting of mission-critical data center equipment, including generators, switchgear, UPS units, cooling systems, water systems, and fire safety equipment. You will report to a Data Center Facility Manager and work closely with various teams to maintain operational excellence.
Our team owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of AWS’s global infrastructure, supporting all data centers and essential equipment to ensure continuous service. We work on challenging problems and value diverse experiences, fostering an inclusive culture that encourages innovation and growth.
