BlackCube Labs in Mt. Laurel, NJ is seeking an Engineering Operations Analyst – Generative AI & Data for a 6-month onsite contract.

The role combines advanced Excel, SQL, and Claude coding to support engineering leadership with actionable insights. Candidates should have 6–8 years overall, 7+ years in Generative AI, and be prepared for a face-to-face interview while working on a W2 basis at $36–$38 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain operational reports and dashboards.

Role Description

• Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros, VBA scripting, and automation techniques to develop and maintain operational reports and dashboards.
• Expertise in SQL database build and querying.
• Expertise in generative AI Claude coding.
• Analyze, validate, reconcile, and interpret large datasets to provide actionable insights and support engineering leadership decision-making.
• Create and maintain engineering metrics, scorecards, trackers, and management reports with a high degree of accuracy.
• Support vendor management activities, including resource tracking, onboarding/offboarding coordination, invoice validation, and vendor reporting.
• Manage and maintain knowledge repositories, operational documentation, procedures, and governance artifacts.
• Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports, presentations, summaries, and operational reviews for leadership and stakeholders.
• Handle sensitive business, financial, and personnel information with the highest standards of ethics, confidentiality, and discretion.
• Coordinate effectively with engineering teams, vendors, project managers, finance, HR, and leadership to support operational objectives.
• Identify process improvement opportunities, automate manual activities, and enhance operational efficiency through analytical problem-solving.
