Job summary

MultiCare Health System is seeking an Engineering Mechanic III to join our Facility Operations team at Auburn Medical Center. This on-site, part-time on-call role contributes to reliable facility maintenance and safe, comfortable environments for patients and staff.

The position focuses on performing maintenance and repairs on facility equipment, conducting daily operations, mentoring staff, and collaborating with supervisors on bids and inspections for externally run projects.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Certificate of Licensure in one or more of the above identified areas preferred.
• Accomplished in six of the following basic areas: electrical, plumbing/mechanical, machine shop, general building maintenance, steam distribution, electronics, pneumatic tube system, AGVS, CPD equipment, fire alarm initiating and suppression systems, med gas, beds, and nurse call.
• Minimum three (3) years maintenance experience.
• Current Washington State Drivers License; and proof of a safe driving record (which meets established MHS Standards) obtained by a motor vehicle report from the appropriate state.
