JOB DESCRIPTION:
Engineering - Manufacturing, Applications & Process Management (EMAP) oversees, designs, develops, and maintains production, applications, and processes at Saint-Gobain's plant locations supporting our High Performance Solutions sectors.

Functional Responsibilities include:
Manufacturing Engineering: overseeing manufacturing methods, processes, tools, and operations, ensuring compliance with ISO and other regulations, optimizing material, equipment, and personnel use.

Applications Engineering: collaborating with customers to develop innovative applications and new products.

Process Engineering: driving operational excellence through efficient plant design and continuous improvement using lean and Six Sigma tools.

Essential Functions:

  • Collaborate with management, production teams, and cross-functional partners.
  • Adhere to environmental, health, and safety standards.
  • Document activities per engineering best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Embody Saint-Gobain's core attitudes: Customer Focus, Entrepreneurial Spirit, Innovation, Agility, and Open Culture.


Technical Skills:

  • Ability to analyze customer problems and communicate solutions effectively.
  • Experience with Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing methodologies.

  • Data presentation skills and ability to develop reports and presentations.
