Job summary

Hubble Network Inc. in Seattle, WA is seeking an Engineering Manager, Wireless & Digital Design to lead the design of wireless communication and localization systems and own HDL implementations on satellite FPGAs.

This player-coach role blends senior wireless systems expertise with team leadership to deliver flight-ready RTL and protocols from terrestrial BLE to satellites. You'll collaborate across hardware, firmware, software, and customer success to translate strategic goals into concrete

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field
• 10+ years in wireless systems and/or FPGA digital design
• 3+ years leading or managing engineering teams
• Strong understanding of communications theory and DSP
• Experience with Matlab/Python/C/C++ for algorithm development
• Experience decoding wireless protocol packets (BLE/ZigBee/LoRa)
• Experience in RTL design (Verilog/SystemVerilog) for high-throughput receivers
• FPGA synthesis, timing closure, resource optimization on FPGA platforms
• Familiarity with high-speed memory interfaces and serial interfaces
• Ability to mentor engineers and lead design reviews
• Ability to collaborate with RF, firmware, and systems teams

Responsibilities

• Lead wireless system design to satellite integration and RTL implementation
• Mentor and grow the digital design team
• Define algorithms and protocols linking terrestrial BLE to satellites
• Oversee RTL codebase and flight-ready FPGA deployments
• Coordinate with hardware, firmware, software and customer success teams
• Balance technical depth with product strategy and delivery
