Job summary

Jared is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a remote team focused on Voice AI and LLM initiatives. You will guide a squad of 8–15 engineers, shaping architecture and delivery in a fast-moving startup environment.

You’ll own hiring, career development and performance management, partner with Product and Delivery, and drive ownership of shipping AI-native solutions while maintaining customer value and production reliability.

Engineering Manager - Voice AI/LLMs

Seasoned Engineering Manager who has:

• 5+ years managing software engineers/engineering teams

• Led teams of roughly 8+ engineers, ideally 8–15

• 10+ years total software engineering experience

• Strong early-stage or high-growth startup background

• Has hired, developed, performance-managed, and made tough people decisions

• Strong servant-leadership / people-management approach

• Comfortable managing senior engineers rather than being a hands-on IC

• Has operated successfully in a fast-moving, fully remote environment

• Strong ownership and bias toward shipping quickly

Prior experience with:

• AI / ML / LLMs

• Conversational AI
