Job summary
BWI Group is seeking an Engineering Manager – Vehicle Leveling to lead application engineering and product development teams focused on pneumatic and hydraulic vehicle lift and leveling systems. You will bridge advanced technical solutions with customer applications, guiding the full lifecycle from concept to high-volume production release.
The role requires deep knowledge of vehicle dynamics and leadership skills to mentor a multidisciplinary team, while interfacing with customers, suppliers
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; master’s preferred.
- 10+ years automotive engineering with suspension/chassis focus.
- 3–5+ years leadership of multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience with North American OEMs.
- Strong knowledge of design principles (DFSS, Six Sigma).
- Experience with data acquisition and debugging/verification.
Responsibilities
- Define the future overall product plan for air suspension and hydraulic lift systems.
- Lead product engineering team to execute applications to meet program/project milestones.
- Interface with customers to support tech reviews and project related meetings.
- Support Sales Growth and New Business opportunities.
- Support manufacturing plants and MCIP initiatives.
- Coordinate test and development priorities.
