Job summary

BWI Group is seeking an Engineering Manager – Vehicle Leveling to lead application engineering and product development teams focused on pneumatic and hydraulic vehicle lift and leveling systems. You will drive the full lifecycle from concept to high-volume production, bridging advanced tech with customer applications.

The role requires strong knowledge of vertical dynamics and hands-on leadership to mentor a multidisciplinary team, with travel >50% to meet customers and supplier facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years in automotive engineering, with focus on suspension or chassis systems.
• 3-5+ years of proven multidisciplinary engineering team leadership.

Responsibilities

• Define future product plan for air suspension and hydraulic lift systems.
• Lead engineering team to meet program milestones.
• Interface with customers for reviews and meetings.
• Support sales growth and new business opportunities.
• Coordinate test and development priorities and data reduction.
• Develop and maintain suspension performance specs and test reports.
• Manage department budget and training plans.
