Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Manager of Software Engineering in Enterprise Technology to lead multiple software teams, guiding day-to-day delivery while ensuring compliance with business requirements and security standards.

You will drive adoption of AI-assisted development, implement SDLC automation, mentor engineers, and manage stakeholder relationships to deliver secure, resilient software across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
• 5+ years leading technology projects with Big Data & Event Driven Architecture.
• Hands-on with Spark, Databricks, AWS and Java.
• Experience managing technologists.
• Experience leading enterprise AI-assisted development and delivery tools, including defining ways of working and data handling.

Responsibilities

• Provides guidance to immediate team of software engineers on daily tasks and activities.
• Sets the overall guidance and expectations for team output, practices, and collaboration.
• Leads team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices and SDLC automation to improve delivery speed, quality, and operational outcomes, while ensuring human validation and secure handling of data.
• Applies knowledge of SDLC tools to improve automation value and capacity unlock initiatives.
• Anticipates dependencies with other teams to deliver products in line with requirements.
• Manages stakeholder relationships and the team’s work in compliance with standards and SLAs.
