Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years applied data engineering experience with architecture ownership.
• Hands-on experience delivering system design, development, testing, and operational stability.
• Strong Python coding skills with Databricks and Spark experience.
• Experience leading AI-assisted software development tools and validating AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
• Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Advanced understanding of agile methodologies (CI/CD, resilience, security).
• Experience with AWS and lakehouse/data platform patterns.
• Proven technical leadership through architecture decisions and cross-team influence.

Responsibilities

• Executes creative software solutions and technical troubleshooting beyond routine approaches.
• Develops secure, high-quality production code and reviews others' code.
• Architects and delivers data platforms and pipelines on AWS and Databricks using Spark and Delta.
• Builds libraries, pipelines, and automation for reuse.
• Owns data quality, monitoring, SLAs, incident triage, and cost optimization.
• Drives SDLC standards including testing strategy and secure coding.
