About The Role

CrowdStrike Falcon Host is a security product with two components: a sensor installed on client machines that observes activity and recognizes malicious behavior, and a cloud component that aggregates telemetry, correlates threats, and provides insights to customers. The sensor processes thousands of events per second, monitoring system activity across OS layers such as file systems, memory, processes, and networking.

The engineering team responsible for the sensor's content and prevention policies is looking for an Engineering Manager. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated with a proven track record of hiring and retaining high-performing software engineers. The team owns the research, design, and development of features related to monitoring and responding to user behavior at the system level.

What You'll Do

1. Attract, develop, and retain top technical talent to strengthen our industry leadership
2. Develop new product concepts
3. Support design and development of software features
4. Own features from conception to delivery, including participation in product demos
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams across locations

What You'll Need

1. U.S. citizenship or Permanent Residency, working exclusively from the U.S.
2. Deep knowledge of C++
3. Strong understanding of low-level OS internals (Windows, Mac OS, or Linux)
4. Experience as an Engineering Manager with direct reports
5. Ability to lead, mentor, communicate, and collaborate in a distributed team environment
6. Experience debugging memory issues, process contention, and system performance
7. Experience shipping major features and releases with teams
