Job summary

Procore Technologies is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a small, senior team responsible for a Vault-backed identity platform. You will oversee architecture, build-vs-buy decisions, and cross-team collaboration in a hands-on leadership role based in our Austin, TX office.

You will manage 4–6 engineers, partnering closely with staff ICs on design and delivery, while ensuring reliable, secure credential rotation and lifecycle across Procore's services.

Qualifications

• 2+ years managing software or infrastructure engineering teams
• 7+ years total engineering experience in backend systems or platform engineering
• Direct experience with secrets management or identity infrastructure (Vault, OIDC, PKI, certificate lifecycle)

Responsibilities

• Lead the team that owns the Vault-backed identity platform.
• Drive the roadmap for credential issuance, rotation, and retirement.
• Ensure platform reliability as a Tier-0 dependency with SLOs and incident response.
• Collaborate with Security Engineering to align investments with compliance obligations.
