Ashby is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead multiple engineering squads, mentor engineers, and drive hiring for three to five new roles. You’ll shape engineering culture and processes, balance delivery with quality, and partner with leadership to scale the team thoughtfully.

You will work closely with the co-founders to set direction, maintain high standards, and ensure fast, reliable execution across product areas from TA tooling to platform services.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience building and coaching engineering teams.
• Experience influencing product and technical decisions at scale.
• Ability to hire, mentor, and grow engineers across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide feedback on product and technical specs to guide scope and quality.
• Grow engineers to own loosely defined projects with less handholding.
• Dive into code and systems to fix bugs, improve developer experience, and accelerate delivery.
