Qualifications

• Eight or more years in engineering with at least three years managing senior ICs on high-integrity work.
• Experience as engineering manager on a system whose failures were consequential.
• Strong writing ability and disciplined hiring decisions.

Responsibilities

• Hire two or three engineers in year one and set the codebase review standards.
• Coordinate with research and licensed reviewers to ensure accurate feedback flow.
• Lead one-on-ones, maintain focus, and prevent scope drift while defending slower schedules when needed.
