Qualifications

• Experience managing and growing a team of software engineers.
• Hands-on software engineering background prior to management.
• Experience building or operating backend, distributed, or infrastructure systems in production.
• Working knowledge of deployment and cloud-native tooling (CI/CD, Kubernetes, IaC).
• Excellent written and verbal communication across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of engineers building continuous‑deployment and feature‑flagging platforms.
• Set technical direction for safe deployment of code, infrastructure, and configuration.
• Partner with product, inference, security, and infrastructure teams to migrate services to the paved path.
• Drive roadmaps for progressive rollouts, health‑check automation, and new deployment surfaces.
• Define and track metrics for deployment safety and speed.
