Job summary
Ultimate Staffing is partnering with an Electrical & Electronics Manufacturing team in Irvine to hire an Engineering Manager to bridge Product Development and Quality Assurance. This direct hire role offers a salary up to $135k plus discretionary year-end bonus, with a Monday–Friday schedule.
The candidate will lead cross-functional quality engineering efforts, review CAD models (SolidWorks), drive FAI and validation activities, and ensure production readiness while upholding ISO 9001/14001
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Design Engineering or related field.
- 7+ years in quality engineering or related disciplines.
- Experience with CAD drawings and interpreting specifications.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001/ISO 14001 standards and quality systems.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Engineering and Quality to align development and QA.
- Review designs and CAD/SolidWorks models for risks early.
- Lead product validation, reliability testing, and FAI activities.
- Ensure production readiness and adherence to quality standards.
- Act as quality expert, drive root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Establish and monitor quality KPIs for continuous improvement.
- Support supplier and manufacturing quality programs.
