Job summary

Watershed in New York is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead an in-person team focused on scalable climate and ESG software for financial institutions. You will guide product, design, and customers through planning, execution, and delivery of high-quality code across multiple initiatives.

You will build and mentor a diverse 4-7 engineers, set technical direction, maintain reliability, and partner with PMs and other managers across US/UK/Mexico to align roadmaps and best practices.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of engineering team management experience.
• 6+ years of overall developer and management experience.
• Experience growing teams of 4+ engineers.
• Ability to set direction and lead execution for technical teams in fast-paced environments.
• Strong product sense and collaboration with Product, Design and customers.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a diverse team of 4-7 engineers.
• Guide the team to make sound engineering decisions and trade-offs.
• Maintain high quality and reliability expectations.
