Siemens is seeking an Engineering Manager to help lead the Power Protection & Automation Engineering Development Program (EDP). The EDP is a rotational program that develops recent engineering graduates through technical training, hands‑on field rotations, project exposure, report‑outs, and mentorship across Protection and Automation. This role will support the technical and professional development of EDP participants as they build deeper knowledge in substation protection, automation, controls, communications, FATs, SATs, commissioning, and field execution. As the program continues to grow, this manager will partner with the Technical Talent Director, Engineering Managers, Power Academy, mentors, and project teams to coordinate deployments, technical training, performance feedback, safety expectations, overtime approvals, important metrics, and continuous program improvements.
This hybrid position is based at our corporate headquarters in Wendell, NC. Located in the heart of the Research Triangle about 20 minutes east of Raleigh, Wendell offers top‑rated schools, a mild climate, easy access to mountains and coast, and a cost of living that allows your compensation to go further.
