What you'll do at Anomalo:

• Ensure your team delivers high-quality work.
• Empower your team to make decisions and drive technical strategy.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across departments.
• Coach and mentor engineers with active feedback and support.
• Hire and build a diverse, talented team.
• Communicate team progress, successes, challenges, and risks; unblock issues.
• Lead technically by contributing to PRs in Python, Terraform, Kubernetes, Bash.
• Accountable for operating our production SaaS environment, supporting all departments with cloud infrastructure, maintaining automated monitoring for security and compliance, supporting deployment and support in customer environments, managing infrastructure spend, and supporting observability and developer experience.

What you'll bring to the team:

• 2+ years leading and managing teams in a startup environment.
• 7+ years in Platform Engineering, DevOps, SRE, or similar, with cloud infrastructure and data systems experience.
• Experience operating production Kubernetes systems across regions/clouds and with observability tools.
• Deep understanding of software systems, capable of engaging in design and architecture discussions.
• Focus on people growth and process improvement, with leadership passion.
• Track record of setting and achieving strategic engineering goals.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Location and travel:

• Preferably in East Coast timezone.
• Quarterly travel for on-sites and hackathons; ~15% travel for customer and team meetings.

Compensation:

• Estimated $190k - $230k plus meaningful equity.
