Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Plant Engineering Manager in Richmond, KY to lead the plant engineering and maintenance staff, troubleshoot PLC/Robotic/Pneumatic/Hydraulic systems, and oversee capital projects from inception to completion.

You will drive safety metrics, collaborate with Corporate Engineering on plant improvements, and ensure compliance with engineering specs and regulatory requirements. A bachelor's degree in engineering and 5+ years of manufacturing experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an engineering management role within the manufacturing industry.
• Proven experience leading engineering teams and maintenance personnel.
• Strong knowledge of PLC, Robotic, Pneumatic, Hydraulic, and Mechanical systems.
• Experience managing capital projects and budgets.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead the plant engineering and maintenance staff, providing support and troubleshooting for issues that can include: PLC, Robotic, Pneumatic, Hydraulic, and Mechanical systems.
• Oversee capital projects from inception to completion, managing budgets and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Lead health and safety metrics for the department, promoting a culture of safety and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with Corporate Engineering to implement plant improvements that align with the company's strategic business plan and meet customer demands.
• Interpret and enforce compliance to engineering specifications, equipment and maintenance requirements, and all facilities compliance requirements.
• Direct the activities of plant project engineers and plant maintenance/tooling personnel, fostering a team-oriented environment and promoting professional development.
• Manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, ranging in size from $10K to over $10 million.
