Job summary

Calqulate Metrics Ltd seeks an accomplished Engineering Manager with 10+ years in EMS and 5+ years in project management to relocate to the Albuquerque area and lead strategic growth in the Southwest.

You will oversee Product, Process, and Test Engineering, drive DFx and cost-reduction initiatives, and align corporate roadmaps with customer programs including aerospace and defense accounts.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering.
• 10+ years in Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) / production environments.
• 5+ years in formal Project Management.
• 3+ years in People Leadership / Management.
• Deep familiarity with Aerospace, Military, and Tech-Industrial product lifecycles.

Responsibilities

• Shapes strategic roadmaps and resource allocations as a core member of the Albuquerque Leadership Team.
• Oversees Product, Process, and Test Engineering; manages capital spend, budgets, and cross-functional prioritization.
• Directs end-to-end NPI, rapid prototyping, large-scale product transfers, BOM/ECN integrity, and DFx reviews.
• Drives continuous quality improvement and ensures regulatory compliance (RoHS, Conflict Minerals, env standards).
• Acts as technical and executive liaison for key aerospace, military, and defense accounts.

A dynamic, customer-focused leader with a strong technical foundation in product, process, and test engineering. Proven track record of scaling New Product Introduction (NPI), driving DFx and cost-reduction initiatives, and building high-performing, cross-functional teams. Combines hands-on expertise in Lean/Kaizen methodologies and BOM/ECN governance with executive presence to align plant operations, corporate engineering roadmaps, and key aerospace, military, and industrial customer accounts.
