As our Engineering Manager, you’ll lead and grow a high‑performing engineering team while staying hands‑on. You’ll mentor engineers, contribute to production code and drive technical direction and quality.

This is an intense, hands‑on role with full ownership. We expect you to push for excellence and raise the bar.

Location: New York City HQ, 7 World Trade Center

Where you'll create impact

• Run planning, standup, retrospectives, and concise meetings

• Unblock engineers and minimize distractions

• Partner with Product on roadmap, prioritization and execution

• Drive delivery of major features and technical initiatives

• Design and review system architecture, APIs and data models

• Balance speed, scalability and long‑term maintainability

What sets you up for success

• Hardcore work ethic and high agency

• 5+ years of software engineering experience

• 3+ years of experience leading teams

• Proven track record of shipping products at a high pace

• Strong experience with Python and React/Next.js (preferred)

• Experience building scalable APIs and systems

• Experience leading projects or systems end‑to‑end

• Clear written and verbal communication

• Comfortable operating with high ownership in ambiguous environments

• Background in fintech is a plus

Compensation & Benefits

• Equity: $100,000 - $120,000

• Base salary: $200,000 - $350,000
