Job summary

Meta is seeking a Software Engineering Manager for Neural Interface ML Infra in Redmond, WA. You will lead a team focused on AI/ML systems, distributed hardware-software co-design, and scalable infrastructure for wearable products.

You will drive architectural decisions, mentor engineers, and partner with AI Infra, Hardware Eng., Product, and Research to deliver high-impact projects with measurable outcomes and responsible AI practices.

Qualifications

3+ years managing software engineering teams with a track record of delivering measurable outcomes.
Demonstrated ability to engage deep in technical work and guide decisions.
Proven track record growing engineers.
Experience communicating technical strategy to cross-functional stakeholders through proposals/presentations.

Responsibilities

People Leadership: Build/retain an engineering team
Provide coaching, mentorship, and performance management
Technical Leadership: Engage in design reviews, architecture decisions, and trade-offs
Define technical vision with Tech Leads
Drive hardware-software co-design projects to completion
Manage roadmaps, timelines, and risk mitigation
Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with AI Infra, Hardware Eng., Product, and Research
Represent the team to leadership
