Job summary

Vision Point Systems, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Manager to oversee corrosion prevention and control RDT&E programs for Navy/USMC contracts. The role is based in Fairfax, VA but requires onsite work at DC Metro area federal laboratories as needed.

Responsibilities include laboratory test planning, data analysis, and leading a multidisciplinary engineering team. A Bachelor’s in engineering and 6+ years of engineering experience are required, along with 2+ years of staff supervision and 3+

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, materials engineering, or a similar accredited engineering degree.
• 6+ years of functional engineering experience.
• 2+ years of experience supervising staff (informally or formally).
• 3+ years of project management experience.
• Demonstrated technical writing and presentation skills with strong collaboration abilities.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance and requires US Citizenship.
• Willingness to work in multiple DC metro area labs as required by customer,” or similar phrasing.
• Ability to influence team members and work with multi-faceted teams.
• Must be solutions oriented and able to think through complex problems.
