Are you ready to lead a high-impact team empowering next generation machine learning infrastructure? At Signifyd, we’re looking for an Engineering Manager to join our ML Platform team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of how machine learning models are trained and deployed, to develop next generation feature engineering, and to collaborate with data science on bringing state of the art techniques into production, all in a scalable, cost efficient manner. What You’ll Do

• Drive a culture of reliability and innovation in ML systems development
• Lead the your team to develop the next generation feature development systems to power low-latency ML applications in a cost effective and developer friendly manner, leveraging technologies like feature stores and real-time data pipelines
• Establish, measure, and manage reliability and data quality standards of mission critical ML systems
• Advocate for architectural best practices in cloud platform development across the organization.
• Partner with cross-functional teams in product, data science, and across engineering to define roadmaps and deliver high-priority projects
• Mentor and grow a high-performing team of engineers while fostering an inclusive culture of innovation.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking candidates passionate about technology, leadership, and innovation. Ideal qualifications include:

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering or data science roles, with 2+ years in technical leadership or management.
• 3+ years experience in delivering ML applications solving real world problems
• Strong knowledge of software development best practices, cloud computing platforms, big data technologies, MLOps toolkits, and SLO-driven reliability management.
• Proven ability to build and lead distributed teams across geographies while fostering collaboration and innovation.
• Experience in eCommerce, financial services, or related industries is a bonus
• Excellent communication skills with a track record of mentoring engineers.
• Commitment to promoting diversity and creating an inclusive and safe work environment.
