Job summary

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc. in Lewiston, ID seeks an Engineering Manager to lead our Engineering Support team in the Magnetics Components Manufacturing division.

This onsite role requires management experience across engineering disciplines and a hands-on approach. You will mentor a dynamic team, drive production support, process improvements, machine modifications, and oversee our external contract manufacturing cell.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering or equivalent with 8+ years of engineering or management experience.
• Strong technical knowledge in one or more engineering disciplines/technologies.
• Ability to design/produce/support successful products and processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead discipline/technology/process teams while balancing quality, production, cost and performance goals.
• Assist in developing long-term production and technology strategies.
• Attract, hire, supervise, and develop team members to meet group goals.
• Represent the team in external meetings and present at internal forums.
• Model SEL values and world-class manufacturing principles.
