About The Role

As a Machine Learning (ML) Platform Manager, you will drive the evolution of our ML infrastructure, ensuring that our teams have the tools and frameworks needed to build, deploy, and scale AI-driven solutions efficiently. This role involves shaping the future of how machine learning fuels business impact, beyond just managing ML systems.

You will collaborate with ML engineers, data scientists, and software teams to develop a scalable, high-performance ML platform that supports experimentation, model training, real-time inference, and ML lifecycle management at scale.

The base salary starts at $176,490, up to $245,100, with full-time employees eligible for bonuses, equity, and benefits. The actual salary depends on location, skills, and experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement a scalable ML platform for model development, deployment, and monitoring.
• Optimize ML workflows for experimentation, feature engineering, training, and inference.
• Build and maintain ML infrastructure including distributed training systems, feature stores, model registries, and real-time serving frameworks.
• Collaborate with ML engineers and data scientists to provide a self-service platform that accelerates research and deployment.
• Ensure compliance and governance, defining best practices for ML model security, monitoring, versioning, and responsible AI.
• Improve ML model performance with efficient inference pipelines and latency optimization.
• Lead and mentor a team of ML platform engineers, fostering innovation and excellence.
• Stay updated on ML infrastructure trends and adopt emerging technologies to enhance scalability and performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in designing and scaling ML platforms for large-scale AI applications.
• Deep knowledge of ML infrastructure components like distributed training, model registries, feature stores, and inference serving.
• Hands-on experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Kubeflow, MLflow, Airflow, Spark, Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with cloud ML ecosystems such as AWS, GCP, or Azure ML.
• Strong software engineering skills in Python, Java, or Scala, with ML Ops best practices.
• Experience with monitoring tools for model drift, automated retraining, and performance tracking.
• Leadership experience managing engineering teams and collaborating with data scientists.
