Job summary

Consolidated Cooperative, a member-owned utility, seeks an Engineering Manager to lead planning, design, and reliability of electric distribution and telecom systems in Central Ohio. You’ll guide a growing engineering team, ensuring safe, reliable, and cost-effective service while collaborating with operations and other stakeholders.

You will oversee GIS, AMI, and SCADA systems, support outage restoration, and contribute to budgeting and long-range planning.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; PE licensure preferred.
5+ years of engineering experience, preferably in electric utility.
Prior supervisory experience preferred.
Strong communication, planning, problem solving, and project management skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business technologies.

Responsibilities

Lead planning, design, and reliability of electric distribution and telecom systems.
Develop and lead a high-performing engineering team.
Collaborate with operations, fiber, and member engagement to deliver projects.
Oversee GIS, AMI, SCADA systems and outage restoration support.
Assist with budgeting, contracts, bid evaluations, and long-term planning.
Maintain records for joint use and PCB transformer test data and disposal.
