Job summary

State of Oklahoma, Department of Transportation, is seeking an Engineering Manager - ITS Design in Oklahoma City to lead the ITS Design and Engineering Branch. You will apply engineering judgment to statewide construction plans for fiber, CCTV, DMS, RWIS, and vehicle detection systems, and supervise a team of engineers and technicians.

This exempt, regular full-time role reports to the Assistant Division Engineer and requires PE licensure with supervisory experience; you will manage projects,

Qualifications

• Professional Engineer registration is required.
• At least one year of supervisory experience (Level II).

Responsibilities

• Lead an engineering staff and oversee ITS design programs.
• Develop statewide construction plans for ITS assets.
• Review consultant plans and PES documents.
• Manage budgets and resources for the unit.
• Coordinate with public officials and stakeholders.
