Job summary

Rippling is seeking an Engineering Manager for Inventory Management in Seattle to lead a senior team of engineers and own the automation infrastructure that underpins our IT platform. This role blends hands-on architectural work with people leadership to accelerate delivery across global hardware lifecycle management.

You will oversee a 12-engineer team, drive AI-enabled workflows, and partner with multiple product and technology groups to build an integrated internal product landscape.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers to deliver high-quality IT platform software.
• Own the IT automation infrastructure and drive end-to-end system architecture.
• Modernize internal systems and enable automated, multi-system workflows.
• Stay deeply technical by evaluating system trade-offs and core plumbing decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Inventory Management, Identity, Devices, and Product.
