Job summary

Cindavi's engineering leadership opportunity at our Fitchburg, WI campus seeks an I&C/Electrical Engineering Manager to guide a newly integrated team of software and electrical engineers. You will oversee design, development, procurement, and testing of systems powering and controlling medical isotope production facilities.

The role emphasizes mentoring, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced, innovative environment with potential relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering; Electrical or Computer Engineering preferred.
• 7–10+ years of engineering experience with progression into management.
• Strong electrical engineering skills in power distribution or instrumentation and controls; PLC software knowledge.
• Proven ability to build relationships, lead cross-functional teams, and drive organizational synergy.
• Continuous improvement mindset and process evaluation experience.
• Automation experience in medical instruments, radiopharma, or nuclear industries is highly preferred.
• Experience with PLC programming and embedded C is highly preferred.
• Experience with machine design and building factories or automation systems is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Hire, develop, and lead a team of I&C and electrical engineers focused on control systems, instrumentation, and power supply design.
• Mentor engineers in technology decisions and ownership of I&C equipment.
• Lead the integration of software and electrical engineering teams for cohesive outputs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional managers to establish common technology standards and platforms for controls.
• Oversee development of digital and analog control systems (DCS, PAC/PLC, DAQ).
• Participate in design reviews and design releases; prioritize troubleshooting.
• Ensure proper release of documentation and support equipment installation and commissioning.
