If you want to learn, grow, and do the best work of your life alongside the best people you’ve ever worked with, then we hope you’ll consider allowing Calendly to be a part of your professional journey.
Calendly’s Foundational Product Capabilities organization is the backbone of how we build secure, reliable, and intelligent products at scale. We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to lead our Trust & Safety (T&S) and Identity & Access Management (IAM) engineering teams – the groups responsible for keeping our platform safe, secure, and compliant.
You’ll play a crucial role in shaping our platform’s security and integrity by leading both IAM and Trust & Safety initiatives. You’ll design, develop, and maintain Identity, AuthN, and AuthZ services that empower our engineering teams while ensuring scalability, resiliency, and performance. Simultaneously, you’ll oversee our Trust & Safety efforts and build capabilities for fraud prevention, abuse mitigation, and compliance through automated, real‑time threat detection and response. You’ll partner closely with Product, Security, and Platform teams to shape how Calendly manages identity, authorization, and abuse prevention across current and future products.
As an Engineering Manager at Calendly, you have the chance to mentor and grow some of the best and brightest engineers in the world. You will provide hands‑on mentorship, guidance, and decision‑making to help engineering teams deliver effective, high‑quality solutions — including when and how to apply AI/ML, automation, and data products to Identity, Auth, and Trust & Safety problems. You will define and evolve our Identity capabilities to meet future demands while shaping the Trust & Safety roadmap in alignment with company priorities, emerging threats, and new opportunities created by AI.
Top candidates bring clarity where there is ambiguity and can work autonomously to research and uncover solutions. If chosen for this role, you’ll be responsible for mentoring, coaching, and planning for the future of your teams.
