Job summary

Discord is seeking a highly technical Engineering Manager to lead a full-stack squad in the Revenue organization. You will partner with Product to set and execute the roadmap, hire and coach engineers, and drive scalable, high-quality product delivery across web, Android, and iOS.

You will collaborate with Product, Design, Data Science, Marketing, and Partnerships to prioritize work, make first-principles resourcing decisions, and deliver premium experiences that drive revenue.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• 2+ years of experience as an Engineering Manager.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, data scientists, and engineers to solve business problems.
• Deliver a delightful experience for end users and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead a full-stack squad across web, Android, and iOS.
• Hire, coach, and instill best practices within the team.
• Make tradeoffs and design scalable technical solutions.
• Foster a culture of rapid shipping and clear decision-making.
