Job summary

Biamp is seeking a leader to head the global product verification team in Beaverton, OR. You will guide 15+ verification and QA professionals across time zones, defining and executing comprehensive QA strategies for software and hardware across the product portfolio.

You will drive test automation, establish standards, and collaborate with Development Engineering, Product Management, and Compliance to ensure quality throughout the lifecycle. An in-office role based in Beaverton, Oregon.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years in software quality assurance and product verification.
• Experience leading international/distributed verification teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead an international team of 15+ verification engineers and QA professionals across multiple time zones.
• Define and implement comprehensive product verification and software QA strategies.
• Establish quality standards, testing methodologies, and best practices for software and hardware verification.
• Drive test automation initiatives and expand automated coverage.
• Oversee end-to-end software QA processes including functional, integration, system, regression, and performance testing.
• Establish and track metrics and KPIs to measure software quality and defect trends.
• Manage test lab infrastructure, equipment, and verification environments.
• Define and review engineering standards for verification and validation on NPI/NPD projects.
• Partner with Development Engineering, Product Management, Compliance, and Program Management to integrate quality throughout the product lifecycle.
• Communicate verification status and risk assessments to senior leadership.
• Coordinate with international R&D teams to ensure consistent quality standards.
