We are hiring an Engineering Manager for IAM to develop high-performing Go and Python services and secure identity and access management solutions used across all our products. This includes Ubuntu One SSO, Juju, LXD, and MAAS. You will help shape the future of identity management at Canonical, working with open source projects and internal teams to deliver scalable, secure software deployable on bare metal, cloud, and Kubernetes.
The ideal candidate will have significant software development experience, Kubernetes expertise, and a strong focus on software design, performance, and security. Responsibilities include defining product technical vision, managing team backlog, code reviews, mentoring, designing software, writing high-quality code and tests, documentation, and troubleshooting.
You will collaborate with industry-leading teams, utilize our Kubernetes-based observability stack, and participate in open source events and webinars.
This role is remote within the EMEA or AMER regions.
