Job summary

RevenueCat is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead RC Capital, a zero-to-one fintech team building underwriting, risk monitoring, money movement, and banking integrations.

You’ll guide a distributed team across US and Europe, balance feature delivery with technical debt, perform code reviews, mentor engineers, and ensure the team ships reliable software that meets customer outcomes and SLAs.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as a software engineer.
• 3+ years of experience managing software engineering teams.
• Experience building prioritized roadmaps with cross-functional partners.
• Balance shipping features with tech debt and system improvements.
• Hands-on with code reviews and bug investigation.
• Comfort writing SQL to analyze data for inconsistencies.
• Guide teams to deliver value through iterative development and meet SLAs.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a highly engaged distributed team by hiring, supporting, coaching the team to deliver consistently and continuously seek ways to make an impact.
• Work cross functionally primarily with product, design and support teams to set direction for the team, anticipate strategic and scaling related challenges through thoughtful long term planning.
• Work with your team on the iterative execution of the roadmap and build efficient & transparent processes for consistent and predictable delivery.
• Coach and mentor engineers on the team to further their professional development.
• Work with other engineering managers to continuously improve our organization & create a strong sense of ownership, belonging and inclusivity.
