Job summary

StubHub is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a high-impact team building data systems powering personalized marketing and retention for millions of fans. This leadership role emphasizes data-informed decisions, operational rigor, and strong people management.

You will collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Tax, Product, and Data teams, owning delivery across revenue finance and tax systems while mentoring engineers to improve reliability, auditability, and business impact.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of engineering experience with production systems and business-critical software.
• 4+ years of people leadership with track record of building high-performing teams.
• Direct experience building financial, payments, billing, ledger, or tax systems with emphasis on correctness and auditability.

Responsibilities

• Drive measurable business and customer value through high-leverage technical work.
• Lead through execution: manage delivery, remove blockers, and maintain visibility of progress.
• Hire and coach engineers to raise talent density and maintain high performance.
• Promote data-driven decision making by using metrics to guide priorities.
