Ladders is seeking an Engineering Manager, EDR to lead a backend/platform team focused on security operations. This remote role partners with product leadership and security experts to turn ambiguous goals into concrete plans and reliable deliverables.

In this role you will balance technical engagement with people leadership, driving quality, reliability, and scope while supporting team growth in a fast-moving environment.

Competenze

• 5-7 years of experience leading technical backend or platform engineering teams, preferably in SaaS or cybersecurity.
• Familiarity with endpoint detection and response or security operations to collaborate effectively with experts.
• Proven track record of delivering products under tight deadlines with ambiguous requirements.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with a focus on early risk identification.
• Understanding of security and reliability best practices in multi-tenant SaaS environments.
• Experience working alongside technical leads, balancing management and technical ownership.
• Ability to maintain quality standards under pressure and manage scope tradeoffs.

For our client, we are seeking a Engineering Manager, EDR to join the team of a leader in the Telecommunications & Hardware space.

This role will lead a team focused on backend and platform engineering work tied to security operations capabilities in a fast-moving technical environment. You will partner closely with product leadership, technical leads, and security experts to turn ambiguous goals into clear execution plans and dependable deliverables. The position requires strong technical judgment, disciplined project sequencing, and the ability to keep quality, reliability, and scope under control while supporting team growth.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $225,250 – $265,000 annually

Responsibilities
