Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a senior engineering leader in Santa Clara to lead and grow a team of highly skilled engineers, driving NvSci technology for automotive and embedded applications. You will mentor staff, implement processes to ensure high software quality, and deliver reliable schedules in a matrix, globally distributed environment.

Qualifications

• BS or MS degree in EE/CS/CE or equivalent experience.
• 8+ overall years of software development and 3+ years of management experience.
• Effective written and verbal communication regardless of audience or problem complexity.
• Organizational skills to lead projects and drive software development with a matrix team of globally distributed engineers.
• Experience with mentorship and developing engineering staff.
• Embedded Software development background.

Job description

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead and grow a team of highly skilled engineers.
• Drive development of NvSci technology for next generation automotive and other Embedded applications.
• Apply and invent processes to ensure high software quality and reliable schedules
• Directly collaborate with other groups to align technology development with NVIDIA goals

What we need to see:

• BS or MS degree in EE/CS/CE or equivalent experience
• 8+ overall years of software development and 3+ years of management experience

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

• Previous Agile experience, especially with distributed teams and matrix projects
• Prior leadership of rapidly growing teams
• Experience with industrial quality standards: ASPICE, ISO 26262, ISO 21434

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 224,000 USD - 356,500 USD.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
