Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a seasoned Senior Engineering Manager to lead the Data team and guide the development of a scalable, self-serve data foundation with strong governance.

You will partner with Analytics, Product, Data Science and Marketing to deliver trusted data products, mentor engineers, and drive operational excellence while enabling AI-driven data initiatives.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience leading Data Engineering teams.
  • Proven experience building scalable, AI-ready data platforms.
  • Strong partnership with Product, Analytics, Data Science, and Marketing.
  • Experience in data governance, quality, and CI/CD.
  • Experience with growth and marketing data platforms.

About the Role

the company is looking for a seasoned engineering leader to help manage and guide the Data team to drive the company to build a scalable and self-serve data foundation. As a Senior Engineering Manager in the Data team, you will lead the effort to enable the company to democratize data with stronger governance.

The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $230,000.00 and up to $319,000.00. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience.

In this role, you can expect to
  • Drive the next generation of FinTech innovation by leading AI-driven, data-centric initiatives that accelerate business growth, improve decision-making, and advance the company's data platform.
  • Partner closely with Analytics, Product, Data Science, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-quality, trusted, and secure data products while serving as a strategic thought partner to the business.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow high-performing engineering teams, fostering a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
  • Champion innovation and continuous improvement by establishing a clear sense of urgency and direction, setting high expectations for both the team and individual contributors, and driving operational excellence.
  • Collaborate across teams to prioritize work, resolve issues, and remove delivery obstacles, ensuring the team remains focused on delivering the highest business impact while maintaining engineering quality and velocity.
To thrive in this role, you have
  • 7+ years of experience leading Data Engineering teams.
  • Proven experience building scalable, AI-ready data platforms, semantic models, and trusted data products.
  • Strong partnership with Product, Analytics, Data Science, and Marketing to deliver business outcomes.
  • Experience driving engineering excellence, including data quality, governance, CI/CD, and operational reliability.
  • Experience with Growth and Marketing data platforms, including attribution, funnels, and experimentation.
  • Experience in Supporting teams to deliver solution on tech stack such as Spark,Snowflake, Data Warehouse, Data Lake, Key-Value store, dbt
