Job description

Job Description: Engineering Manager Corporate Security - Remote (US only)

About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on software and security engineering leader to strengthen the security of user endpoints, enterprise applications, and network communications at scale. In this role, you'll partner closely with corporate engineering teams to design and implement solutions that safeguard employees and data without introducing unnecessary friction.

As an engineering leader, you'll define and execute the strategic vision for endpoint and corporate security, empowering your team to address evolving risks with creativity, precision, and impact. This is a business-critical role where your leadership will directly protect employees, sensitive data, and high-value assets.

What You'll Do

  • Design, implement, and manage security solutions for macOS, Chromebooks, and mobile endpoints, with a focus on secure configurations, compliance, threat detection, and seamless user experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed endpoint, SaaS, and data security into broader corporate engineering initiatives.
  • Mentor, coach, and grow a high-performing team, setting clear goals and driving impactful results.
  • Translate the security vision into actionable roadmaps focused on endpoint security.
  • Play a hands-on role when needed—writing or reviewing code, troubleshooting incidents, participating in on-call rotations, and resolving critical issues.
  • Lead hiring efforts to expand and scale your team.

What We're Looking For

  • 7+ years in software engineering and security engineering.
  • 5+ years securing macOS/Chromebook endpoints and SaaS applications in large corporate environments.
  • 5+ years in engineering management (team lead or higher).
  • Strong understanding of high-quality code and effective engineering processes.
  • Execution-focused mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity and deliver results.
  • Balance of long-term strategic vision and short-term execution.
  • Hands-on technical ability across coding, reviewing, documentation, incident response, and troubleshooting.

Nice to Have

  • Experience designing and scaling production services that reduce security risk.
  • Expertise in securing mobile endpoints (iOS/Android) and implementing Zero Trust network access.
  • Familiarity with Golang, Python, Docker, AWS, or GCP.
  • Experience in highly regulated industries (FinTech, Healthcare, etc.).

Tech Stack
macOS, Chromebook, Golang, Python, Docker, AWS, GCP

Who Thrives Here

  • Builders who are passionate about solving complex security problems at scale.
  • Leaders who enjoy being both a coach and a player—managing people while staying close to the technical work.
  • Professionals with experience in large-scale corporate environments (1K+ employees) who can adapt processes for growth without excess bureaucracy.
  • People who thrive in high-stakes, high-impact roles where protecting employees and data is mission-critical.

Why Join

  • Mission-driven impact: Play a critical role in protecting corporate infrastructure at a company driving innovation at the intersection of finance and technology.
  • Business-critical role: Security incidents can put employees and customers at risk—your work directly safeguards what matters most.
  • Hands-on leadership: Ideal for a player-coach—manage a team while still contributing technically.
  • Scale & growth: Tackle the same security challenges as FAANG-scale companies, but with greater agility and direct impact.
