Job summary

Ro seeks an Engineering Manager to lead Core Infrastructure in New York, overseeing production-critical systems and a portfolio of initiatives that scale infrastructure and AI-driven workflows.

You will own execution, balance reactive support with durable ownership, and partner across Product Engineering, Cyber, and Data Infra to improve reliability and unit economics while maintaining security and governance.

Qualifications

• Leading infra, platform, or SRE teams in cloud-native environments.
• Strong judgment across production infra systems.
• Experience in regulated environments with HIPAA-adjacent considerations is a plus.
• Hands-on leader able to unblock decisions via architecture and execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a Core Infrastructure team responsible for production-critical systems and foundational engineering capabilities.
• Own execution across the team's portfolio by clarifying priorities, sequencing work, and ensuring quality delivery.
• Improve Ro's infrastructure operating model by clarifying ownership and reducing recurring support burden.
• Advance reliability, observability, and disaster recovery through better practices and durable patterns.
• Partner with Product Engineering, Cyber, Data Infrastructure, and Infrastructure leadership to improve reliability and velocity.
