About The Team

The Slang team develops compiler APIs for Solidity code analysis, aimed at improving developer tools and the Solidity ecosystem. This early-stage project focuses on feature completeness and long-term upgrades.

Remote Work & Timezone

This is a fully-remote role, open to candidates within UTC+2 to UTC-4 timezones.

Who We’re Looking For

We seek a highly technical manager with a strong engineering background, product mindset, and people management skills. You will manage a small team (3-4 engineers), own the product roadmap, provide technical guidance, and foster team growth.

Minimum Requirements

1. 2+ years managing and growing teams, ideally remotely.
2. 6+ years leading projects and defining multi-year roadmaps.
3. Ability to lead without micromanaging.
4. Experience with performance reviews, career development, and hiring processes.
5. Strong communication skills.
6. Proven experience in scalable software architecture design.
7. Expertise in code, design, and product review processes.

Nice to Have

1. Experience building or leading compiler projects.
2. Experience with open source or Rust projects.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

• Participate in technical discussions, guide code reviews, and design decisions.
