Job summary

Haag-Streit USA is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Engineering department at our Mason manufacturing facility. This on-site role oversees CNC programming, engineering support, and drives safety, quality, cost, production, and equipment reliability.

You will own the Engineering Change Request process, partner with Operations and other departments, and build a high-performing team through development and mentoring.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least three years of leadership or management experience.
• At least five years of process or industrial engineering experience.
• Experience leading an Engineering Change Request or similar change-management process.
• Manufacturing experience involving machining, CNC programming, and assembly preferred.
• Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems; Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and manage the Engineering department, including CNC programmers and engineering support personnel.
• Establish departmental priorities and ensure engineering goals are achieved.
• Own the Engineering Change Request process from start to finish with cross-functional review and timely implementation.
• Collaborate with CNC programming team to improve workflows, tooling strategies, and machine utilization.
• Plan and oversee design of manufacturing processes, tooling, fixtures, and equipment.
• Oversee maintenance activities and ensure proper documentation with work instructions.
• Develop a culture of continuous improvement and manage budgets.
