Job summary

onsemi seeks an Engineering Manager to join the management team in a fast-paced semiconductor manufacturing environment. You will lead a diverse team of engineers and technicians to meet production, quality, and cost objectives.

The role emphasizes Lean leadership, hands-on technical involvement, project management, and change management. Occasional travel may be required. A Bachelor’s in engineering with 6+ years of leadership experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering/Technical field is required.
• 3+ years of leadership experience in engineering/operations.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• U.S. work authorization without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to a team of Engineers.
• Conduct regular performance assessments and manage raises within budgets.
• Direct team to meet FAB operations goals for production, quality and cost.
• Prioritize projects to optimize time-to-qualify and implement changes.
• Educate, coach, and mentor engineers and technicians in career development.
• Drive structured problem solving and root-cause analysis after events.
• Lead continuous improvement to achieve best-in-class performance across the enterprise.
• Promote a work environment based on trust, transparency, and teamwork.
• Occasional travel may be required.
• Ensure safety and compliance with EH&S requirements.
