Job summary

dsm-firmenich seeks an Engineering Manager to lead site Engineering, capital planning, and reliability initiatives at Port Newark. You will drive asset health, process safety, and utility reliability while delivering capital projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably chemical or mechanical.
• >10 years in chemical and/or food plant environments with large rotating equipment and unit operations.
• Knowledge of plant utility systems and PSM protocols.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement site asset maintenance strategy and asset health plan.
• Oversee capital budgeting and execution for maintenance upgrades and process safety.
• Lead reliability-based maintenance, preventive maintenance, and PM/PdM programs.
• Ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and design-for-reliability across projects.
