Job summary

OpenAI is seeking an experienced engineering manager to lead our API Experience team in New York, NY. You will own API documentation, SDKs, account experience, and developer tooling used by millions of developers. You will also collaborate with research to bring cutting-edge models to our API.

This role requires strong leadership, 8+ years in software engineering, and 5+ years in engineering management, with prior API product experience at scale. The position offers a hybrid work model in the US.

• Coach and nurture engineers to accelerate their growth and learning.
