Chime is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Jade AI-powered financial assistant team within the AAX organization in New York and San Francisco. The role combines hands-on technical guidance with people leadership, shaping AI-driven features that scale to millions of members.

You’ll oversee architecture decisions, foster AI tooling adoption, and collaborate with Product, Design, Data Science, and Risk to deliver precise member-first solutions.

Qualifications

• Proven software engineering background with modern languages and architectures.
• 2+ years of people management experience and coaching engineers.
• Experience building and shipping AI/LLM-powered features and tools.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and hire a high-caliber team building Jade.
• Ensure quality, reliability, and safety in AI features.
